CASE STUDY: Waste Industry Glass Collection Truck Body Modification based in Porirua City

Truck Body had an inherent issue with Glass waste jamming up in front body section and not flowing to the rear. This caused a lack of Load Capacity.

Initial reports advise they are achieving up to 70% less glass breakage, significant improvement in Load capacity and a major noise reduction as a bonus when working near residential housing.

Front, angled Plaztuff Hyslip Fabricated insert partly constructed.

 

Finished Plaztuff Hyslip Fabricated Insert shoot. Hard wearing Co-extruded Material 12mm Thick with 2mm of Red and 10mm Grey. If a spot area is receiving extensive wear on entry of Glass, this area will eventually show through the Grey as Red then necessitating an isolated replacement patch.
